Evan is wearing a bunny toque that belonged to Jada Bartlett. This was just a day before I left my guys for a weekend with the girls in Waterton. The Chicks retreat was awesome! There will be news posted soon on the blog (www.gatechicks.blogspot.com).










Evan decided to climb up on a chair and sit up like a big boy while he watched me clean the kitchen. Of course, I had to stop and play with him instead.




More gratuitous eating shots. Just pure cuteness for us parents. Evan's vocabulary is expanding quite quickly, and unexpectedly. Tonight after I read him Brown Bear, he named all the animals and then pointed out "teacher" and "children" - I had no idea he'd picked those up. For 15 months old, he's doing pretty good!

Evan and his dad - such a handsome pair! Our little baby is a baby no longer, he's a little boy. And that thought is pretty great and sad all at once. Today he climbed into his play pen for the first time. After video taping it I had to grab him for a hug... geez mom!
Evan continues to "sing" and make beats on his own chest with his "drum sticks" everywhere he goes.

It's not enough just to roll his truck around, he's also got to pull it up to the couch and shove it off into a terrific crash into the floor. (That's Richelle Tucker for those of you who don't know.)

Evan continues to take every opportunity to practice his drumming. He spends most of his time at home with two markers/pens in his hands looking for things to make sounds on.


And of course there is no better spot to enjoy a little baby tv than his toy box, with his toothbrush. Somehow it all makes sense to him!
