It's been a while since I've written any news so here's the brief summation of our lives currently.
Evan is the cutest baby ever - except he's not a baby, he's a toddler and he looks less like a baby every day. He's putting sentences together especially questions like "where'd it go?" and "what happened" and he loves "oh no". He's got a great sense of humour, loves to tease and loves being tickled - what more could a parent ask for?
Scott is currently rehearsing for opening night tomorrow. He's a British guy in the Lark (play about Joan of Ark (I know, my knowledge on the subject is astounding, sorry, you can get more details from Scott if you're interested) which runs at the university starting Feb 13th (tomorrow) until Sunday. He's been rehearsing every night for two weeks (and 5 nights/week for the 5 weeks before that) so we'll be happy to have him home evenings when he's done.
I am currently enjoying RRSP season - lots of calls, lots of deposits and, next week, lots of clients panicking because they only had 14 months to come up with an RSP contribution so can I please keep the office until midnight March 1st so they can drop off a cheque. (Okay, it's not really that bad, but I love to exaggerate.)
The Gate - well there's been a rash of pregnancies (none of them mine), at least five women are pregnant right now - while the next two weekends we're celebrating weddings - can anyone imagine the gift mayhem? We continue to love being a part of the Gate and being involved in our individual and collective efforts. Scott runs the church, I run Chicks@theGate (by run I mean rely desperately on an amazing core group of ladies who are committed to the cause and to furthering our vision - see www.gatechicks.blogspot.com for further details) and lead one Wed night band.
We continue to enjoy the benefits of having family living close and family visiting (we saw Robin a few weeks ago and Barbara's coming in tomorrow). All in all, we have a lot to be thankful for and life continues to be an adventure.
Oh, and JUNTIMA'S PREGNANT!!! YAYYYYYYY!!!!!
